Have Your Say About Canada's Climate Plan

Thanks to the implementation of Bill C 12 which we fought for before the election last spring, the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change must establish Canada’s plan to achieve our 2030 Greenhouse Gas emissions reduction target. Before that, he must hold public consultations about what should be in the plan. Those consultations are occurring right now! And they are focused on hearing Canadian citizens like all of us. You can be sure that right now tthe oil and gas industry is lobbying the government on this - let’s be sure to raise our voices too!

Please join us to learn more about TransformTO's Net Zero strategy report which is coming out on Nov. 25th, and how to depute (either by speaking or in writing) to the Infrastructure and Environment Committee on Dec 2nd. Please help us to build excitement about this step forward for the city in advance of City Council meeting to vote on this December 15th.
