Our panel discussion of the film 2040 includes youth climate activists, Aminah Attar and Ruby Swartz from Fridays for Future Toronto, and Kasha Sequoia Slavner from the Global Sunrise Project. It is moderated by climate and food activist, Rachel Parent from Kids Right to Know.
The first half of their program features a roundtable discussion in which the panelists discuss the film and how it relates to their own work on climate justice. In the second half, they take questions from the audience. It stimulates a lively and inspiring discussion.
Be sure to watch the companion event, the film 2040. The film is available online for free viewing from Oct 15 to Nov 8. Register here to see the film on Eventbrite at EcoFair Toronto: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/film-screening-2040-registration-1177021833…
